FAQ's

Q: What happens if one of my players moves team during the season?

If the player stays in Super League then not much, you will continue to earn points for them. We do not move players within the game though and the three player rule still applies.

Q: How do the players on the bench score?

Exactly the same as players 1 to 13.

Q: How much does it cost to play? Please note - N/A during trial period!

The initial trial period is free to enter. One team costs £5, two teams cost £8 and three £10.

Q: Can I enter more than one team?

Yes, you can enter up to 3 teams at any time

Q: What if I’ve forgotten my login details?

Just visit the following page www.sldreamteam.co.uk/forgot and enter the email address you registered with and we’ll send you a reminder.

Q: When do I have to register by?

To score from the opening matches, entries must be completed by midnight on the 28th January 2010.

Q: I don't know anything about Rugby League, can I still play?

Yes, of course. It’s really easy to pick a team. Just follow the simple instructions on the How To Play page www.sldreamteam.co.uk/howtoplay if you get stuck.

Q: I'm under 18, can I still enter?

Sorry, but no. SLDreamTeam is not available to those under the age of 18. You must be aged 18 and over (as of the 10 January 2010) to be eligible to play.

Q: Can I make changes to my team during the season?

Yes. Transfers can be made via the website. You'll be given 2 transfers per calendar month in order to make changes to your team should you wish to swap players that are injured or underperforming. An Entrant will only score points for players that are in a Team at midnight the day before they play. For full details please refer to the Terms & Conditions.

Q: Is there a transfer amnesty?

Yes, once you've picked your initial line-up, you can make unlimited changes to it, up until midnight on the 28th January 2010. To make changes, log in to the website and click on the transfers button.

Q: Can I compete with my friends / family / colleagues?

Yes - you'll need to create or join a Mini League, which gives you the opportunity to play in your own private league. For more information please refer to the Terms & Conditions.

Q: When will scores be updated?

Player points and leaderboards will be updated every Monday following the weekend’s games. From this point onwards, you'll also be able to view your individual (and Mini League) scores and positions online.

Q: Any tips for selecting a team?

Refer to our ‘How To Play’ section to help you create a team. You can also visit the Player Statistics section of the Engage Super League website www.superleague.co.uk/statistics_player.php to help you with your choices.

Q: When will the free trial end?

The Super League Dream Team game is a free trial and currently does not require payment. The length of the trial is yet to be decided.

Q: How are the player values calculated?

Player values are calculated based on 2009 Opta data combined with the Super League Dream Team scoring system.
